About Our Map Tiles
HotPads generates maps based off a combination of the TIGER data sets provided by the U.S. Census Bureau and the Open Street Map (OSM) project. The tiles are rendered through Mapnik and stored for access on Amazon's S3 service via a modified Tilecache system.
