Aug 2, 2023I've been here almost a year and the entire stay has been horrible. I don't even know where to begin but I wish I had written this sooner to save some people the headache. This place is insanely overpriced at $1550 monthly for 424 square feet. This price includes Cox internet which will go out intermittently and management will say "We have no control over Cox" even though they are the ones charging it as part of the rent. I have had nonstop safety and maintenance issues. There was a German roach infestation as soon as I moved in that took 6 months to fix, they were crawling all over my kitchen, plates, food, and everything else despite pest control telling me my place is immaculate. Management will blame you or tell you that you're the only one despite other residents' reviews. The stress caused me to lose sleep and money and health from having to eat out constantly, and no one offered to help me unless they could sign me for a longer lease term. I have a leak coming from the top of the sliding glass door, which is my back wall, that runs water into my apartment whenever it rains and I have been asking for over half a year to be fixed, and when maintenance does show up, they either say "Works as intended" or "We'll get back to you" and nothing is done about it. I have water and mold in my apartment now. I have seen creatures like frogs inside my apartment as well, and I'm on the 3rd floor. The walls are paper thin and you will hear every conversation from above, the sides, below, and the hallway, and sometimes horrific screaming keeping you up at night. I used to go and sit outside at night until people started taking pictures of me from the shaded areas and their apartment windows which made me fear for my safety, and all management did was tell me "It's all in your head", which, I shouldn't even have to say is something you never tell a resident, client, or customer of any sort. People with pets constantly let them relieve themselves in the elevators and grassy areas and everywhere else, or just trash the hallways. The security features to the complex don't work at all, and you will have to download a bunch of apps that barely work to supposedly control them. I have had to avoid being run over in the parking lot multiple times. Your vehicle will absolutely be damaged from bottoming it out on the giant mislevel at the turn-in entrance to the complex, or just someone hitting your mirrors. There is constant construction going on as they are jamming as much as they possibly can into the small surrounding area, and now you won't even be able to see the complex from the street because they are putting in a shopping area just in front of it. Management won't take responsibility for anything and if you don't believe that they aren't being transparent, look at how many of the bad reviews have "I'm not finding you in the system" on them. The lease has a murkily worded addendum you have to sign that basically says if you need to move out for any reason, instead of just keeping the security deposit, they will charge you an extra $3000 on top of rent, which no one has just laying around. The lease says you can find someone to take it over with approval but management will tell you they don't allow it without reason, despite any issues they may have caused. I can't wait until my lease is up so I can get out of here.
