You’ll be located near the junction of 28th and Belmont on a picturesque residential street, with easy access to the Belmont district, 28th Avenue Restaurant Row, Burnside, Hawthorne and Division St/Clinton districts. If you are comfortable walking, cycling, and taking the bus you don’t need a car. The bus 15 is a block away, and takes you downtown, and to the Pearl District and NW 23rd, and connects with the light rail system (MAX), in the other direction it takes you to Mt Tabor Park. It takes about 45 minutes to walk the 2.2 miles to downtown’s Pioneer Courthouse Square along a pleasant route. Laurelhurst Park and Colonel Summers Park are each within 10 blocks. Whole Foods, Zupans, and Safeway grocery stores are all within 10 blocks. The airport is about a 20 minute drive by freeway or surface roads, and about a $30 taxi ride.
