I am willing to pay the insurance on the pit bull. Please let me know.

Answer for Looking for a nice 3 bdr home to rent allowing pitbulls with not so perfect credit or no credit check

The Pitbulls are a big problem with legitimate landlords. Landlords have what's called a landlord insurance policy on their rentals. Just like a homeowner's policy that covers fire and trees falling on the house. Insurance companies consider Pitbulls high risk and will void the landlord's policy if a pitbull resides or even visits the rental home. A landlord willing to take in pitbulls probably doesn't have insurance on the property. So if something bad does happen (fire, roof damage, someone trips on the front steps while you live there and sues you, flood, plumbing bursts, etc) don't expect the landlord to have the money to take care of it.
