Not happy with this place. The construction is bad as others have mentioned, but the way management handled it and many many many many other reasons are why I'm writing this. We were deceived about the construction when we moved in. We paid an amenity fee for amenities that haven't been available in over a year. We haven't even had a ****ing lobby in over a year. I'm so tired of having to explain how to get deliveries to delivery drivers. I always have to go downstairs and meet them. There are fire alarm tests at least once a month during weekday business hours. Hope you don't ever want to work from home, stay home sick and get some sleep, or have dogs. My poor dogs are terrified by it, I feel terrible leaving them alone while I'm at work. All the appliances are terrible quality. The oven drawer has been "repaired" several times but still won't close properly. We just don't use it. The ventilation is terrible, none of the windows open (is this even legal?), the bathroom fans are tiny and do nothing, so despite keeping a very clean house we still can't get our apartment to smell any better than "not too musty". The door to our laundry room doesn't close. It has been "repaired" twice. We just gave up, now it stays open. You can see there's a pattern in things getting "repaired" until you simply give up and live with it being broken. Management doesn't care about keeping people here. They'll just keep packing in more people to rip off. They tried to raise our rent by $500 (ARE YOU KIDDING ME???) last year in the middle of all the construction and lies and indifference. I fought it off but was told I should expect a 'substantial' increase next lease. I hate moving and this location rocks out loud, but I'm done being treated like this. I'm completely disgusted.
