Architects Arthur Angel and Carl Leonard designed Connell???s first structures: the Connell Bldg, the Bailey Hat Bldg and the Brownstein-Louis Bldg. Each of these heavy concrete-framed buildings has a distinctive architectural style and displays the typical design elements of the time like unique decorative facades and oversized rotating windows.
