If I signed a lease but haven't paid a deposit or rent, is the lease still legally binding? Do I have any legal recourse? Or am I just out of luck?

We have a signed renewal for another 1 year lease but the management office that represents the condo assoceiation denied our renewal and won't tell us why. Do we have any rights here?

I'm considering renting a house in lieu of purchase, what happens if the owner goes into foreclosure? If I sign a lease am I still required to vacate the property prior to the end of the lease?
