My parents got a FHA loan here in Southern CA but we can't seem to find any sellers who take FHA loans. Why is this happening?

We've been looking for homes and we would like to buy the house+land since we don't want to end up paying too much. What is really the deal with not accepting FHA loans?

FHA has very strict guidelines for the property it is lending on. Needs to be in good condition and not in disarray.

MY sellers and I allow FHA BUYERS , infact we love them. IF one of my Listings wont work for you, I can show you how as your REALTOR to get the LISTING AGENT and SELLER to allow this . YES its true, the home has to be in tip top shape to pass an FHA appraisors inspection, FHA also has a special loan that can help you with this that your current loan officer may not have told you about. Call me, I will do my best to get you a home
