a townhome will be challenge because of the association rules but look on craiglist or find a realtor to do the work for you. some landlords don't mind pets .. even big dogs .. as long as you submit a pet deposit up front. GL.

Yes I am a pet friendly realtor. The best negotiation method to overcome strict landlords is to offer them the term of the lease pet insurance.. It works 90% of the time I know GEICO and some other insurances sell renters pet insurance. Its a huge relief on the landlord it covers from bites to content damage. If you would like any help here is my cell (954) 639 - 3444
Cheers!

Get your GSD CGC certtified. The local GSD club can help you with that. (Canine Good Citizen Certification) Also, you can train him some service work and once a "therapy dog" he is considered a service dog and they should not be able to deny you rental. Most landlords are worried about aggressive dogs. GSD naturally are considered because of the type of work they do K9 Military etc .. Once they become educated on the temperment and how they are just loyal and protective they should reconsider. Make sure your dog is trained and not dog aggressive. Make sure they know that there property will be protected with this dog on the premise.
