I am in Fla and have bed bugs terrible. They follow me wherever I move. How do you get rid of them? Can you hold landlord liable at place they came from?

I move into an Apartment and was invaded with bedbugs. I have lived in Fla for over 20 years and never had a single one of these things. Now I can not get rid of them. No matter what I try. Can I hold the landlord of place they came from liable? Any advice on how to get rid of them Cant throw a bed in the dryer. I dont want to lose all my furniture.

Diatomaceous Earth. Buy it at your local hardware store in a 5lb bag. Put it in a sock and pad it everywhere you have the bugs. (be sure to wear a mask as you don't want to breathe in the dust. This is the ONLY thing that works permanently. The reason it does is that Diatomaceous Earth consists of fossilized sea algae and is like microscopic razor blades. When the bugs crawl across it, it cuts their exoskeleton and they dehydrate and die. End of problem :)

Be sure to use FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth, and sprinkle it right ON the bedding (under the sheets). Do a google search for FOOD grade DE (Wolf Creek Ranch) is one of the suppliers I have used. Inexpensive, and WORKS! There is complete information on how to use FOOD grade DE for bedbugs. Please don't use the [pool] DE, not good for humans or pets.

bedbugs are horrible...use lemon oil eucalyptus ...dropper everywhere...then fresh eucalyptus leaves everywhere...borax in the laundry aisle of your grocery store...sprinkle in every section of your house make sure no pets are in the house...vacum then throw out bag after leaving borax on overnight....after you sprinkle it go over with a broom to get the borax to go deep in carpet...mattresses need to be sprayed with cleaner ....then mattress pads put on...then the worst part of treatment every stitch of drapery clothing pillow and furniture needs to be cleaned at the laundry mat all stuffed animals need to be put in a hot dryer...also apple cider vinegar in the pets food...don't worry it won't hurt them ...great for fleas and worms...less expensive than advantage at the vet...the worst part is you may have to do this 3 or 4 times till they are gone or pay truly nolan 800 bucks...good luck

These are a serious problem in Florida and most southern states. A serious risk of secondary infections. Be sure to take care of them quickly. Dont forget to light your house on fire before it gets out of control:)

use a metal frame on the bed. and don;'t worry they are every where, they love to travel. check your suite cases. good luck we have them in Las Vegas and the apt must try and get rid of them. Do not pick up any couches from trash or any furniture they love those areas.
