How can I avoid providing my SSN and DOB to landlords?
I heard that many landlords require applicant's SSN and DOB. I would really like to avoid providing this information to them. I am OK with them seeing my credit history or criminal background but I do not wish for them to have my SSN and DOB. How can I deal with a landlord who requires this information?
