Bank saids that landlord has not paid them in 9mths and will not fix both bathrooms. What are my options.I have been paying him and now I find this out. Spoke to him saids he is mmodifying loan.

Lanlord is not fixing problems in the house and has not paid the bank in 9 months and I have been paying him, told me that
he is modifying the loan. Wj

If the landlord hasnt paid the bank,Then dont pay the landlord....Im not sure hoe it works in your state,But in NC..I didnt have to pay my landlord another dime.This was per thae bank..But we did have to move because the house was in foreclosure...The bank gae a a certain date to move and paid us $700.If we moved out on the date agreed so try talking back to the bank..Hope This was helpful..

If you write your landlord a dated letter and send it certified mail, you can write all of the complaints on it, then they have to fix the problems within 30 days or you do not pay rent until they do. I am not sure if this is only for OH or not though.
