Is it a bad idea to bring a car with me when I move in Brooklyn for college?

I recently got accepted from Pratt, and I'm planning to commute college because the dorm rooms are awful. I recently(actually a half-year ago) bought a brand new audi a6. So I'm trying to find an apartment with garage or a parking lot, but I've found only studios w/o it or w/'on-sight' garage, which is awfully expensive. I want an apartment WITH actual parking space that I can leave my car safe for weekdays. I'm going to commute by vespa, not the car(it will be on parking lot most of the time but weekends and breaks).

Do you think there is any apartment with its own parking space? or should I just sell my car?

Good morning,

I;m not sure if you are still in need to this answer but if you look for an apartment maybe a little further away, you may find parking within the building. If you try the queens area, or closer to the queens brooklyn borderline, you may find what you are looking for. Good luck.
