I just helped my son move out of the Arlington area and we brought the furniture to my storage and home in York, PA. I packed everything, movers arrived (1 hour late), but after they arrived the total move was one hour. Drive was 3hrs (because of traffic from VA through DC. Unload was 45-60 minutes. They charged me for 10% gas, drive time, load and unload. This move was based on time + gas. But the men that they sent to me us were wonderful!!!!! More than made up for the one hour late. You should write down what is important to you use reviews of others and be firm with the company before you choose and sign contract. Because when they arrive you sign a lot of stuff that you really don't have time to look at the moment you move. Have them email these docs to you prior!!!!
