Set date for the house to close on the 28th of jan. agent changed the closing date to the 11th of feb??????

Im buying a home and signed and done everything i needed to on the 28th of jan. then like a week before closing the agent said the bank that had the deed to the house has sold it to another bank?? NOTE: The bank that has the house is in texas.. So anyways the agent said we should change the closing date to 11th give them more time..?? What to mail the deed to indiana that should take 5 days at the most?? Theres no liens or anything for it makes no sence to me it doesnt take that long to get a piece of paper...
