we went without an oven for over 2 months what should the landlord do to compensate me, my lease is up and we may be moving

I reported to him that the oven Jenn-air wouldnt stop beeping, a tech came out and said it needed to be replaced. didnt hear anything else for a month. notified landlord that we were still with no oven and never responded. after 2 months i told him that i can no longer eat out and that this problem will not fix itself. the next day i got a call from the tech saying i will have an oven in 10 days

you need to pay to get it fixed and subtract the cost from your rent. make sure you include the receipt for the oven with the next rent check.

A COPY of the receipt, not the original. Keep your records in case you have to prove it
