Try obtaining a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification on your dog. Many people and places offer the test and it's just basic obedience and good behavioral traits that area required to pass. It helps for insurance purposes and some landlords require it for renters with dogs. I've had bully breeds for 20 years and even got my dogs certified for therapy for abused children and the elderly. Again, it's just basic obedience that will help your case.
David Mednick - you're a heartless #@!&$%*, but you'll find out someday what your thinking gets you. To all others, I command you for not giving up on your friends. Adoption is forever. Your animal wouldn't give up on you, don't give up on them. By the way, life is short, you're dead a whole lot longer than alive and don't forget you'll be judged on the choices you make here. An easy life isn't exactly a rewarding afterlife. Don't give up on your pets. Their lives are in your hands.
Hi! Unfortunately, Pit Bills are named on insurance dangerous breed list. So many owners and agents canNot rent to you based on their insurance policy even if they wanted to. Few providers will cover the home if a listed breed should reside within the property.
HOWEVER, we actually work with an insurance company that provides renter's insurance (which is smart anyway)...AND they will cover dangerous breeds. By carrying a policy with them, it eliminates the homeowner's risk-and allows for us to offer rentals to those who own a listed breed.
Call us or check out our website, www.CapstoneRentals.com, to see if we have anything that would work for you! Good luck on your search! I know how hard it is--I had a Rottie!
There's a house listed on craigslist: downtown, 4 or 5 bedrooms 1900.00/month. Right now there is the biggest, most dangerous lookingdog I've ever seen in my life-some kind of italian name-and he's there no problem. This dog looks like arnold scwartzenegger!!!!!
