When I review an application I consider credit score as one of the less important factors. But I may be an exception. Before submitting your rentalapplication and hard earned money, ask the property manager, or landlord, what type of credit issues will cause them to reject an application. If they will not or cannot give you an answer to that question then ask questions that are specific to your credit report. For example, if you have a bankruptcy on your credit report then ask the property manager "will you accept an application that has a bankruptcy on it?" It is better to ask questions that are specific to your credit situation so that you will have an idea as to whether or not your application has a chance of being accepted. No need to pay an applicationfee if you already know there is something on your credit report that the property manager will not approve of.
