MidtownAtlanta is very gay friendly. Search around Piedmont Park. Come to think of it...from I-20 going north within the I-285 perimeter, everything is pretty much gay friendly.
Have you heard about Pine hills area the area i am thinking about is shady valley drive. The area is very convenient , to all areas in Atlantaeasy access to downtown ,midtown etc ,not far from transportation. This area has quite a few gay couples that I know and is very gay friendly. It is a middle class area to upper-class but has some older ranchhomes that have been renovated around 1600 sq-feet, , there are also homes that are in the millions . The ranchhomesrent for approx 1400 dollars but are very nice and a decent size yard for gardening etc. This area is called pine hills.area code 30024 zip. What type of business are you transfering to here in atl? there are universitys close as well as hospitals.I would stay clear of the Marietta area not quit as open there.
You probably wont want to live outside of the Atlanta 285 perimeter...The Decatur also known as (DICK-HATER )is choc full of dykes, bull dykes and Lesbians- Thats where you will find truck drivers, hummers, deisel trucks and bull dykes- You really woulnt be happy in the normal parts of town that are known as the berbs ...My partner and I live in the beautiful town of Marietta, But I grew up here so Ive been Grandfathered in So to speak- You must work for Home Depot or some other dyke affiliated company...Good Luck with your search.
You should try City of Decatur, very nice area . . . gay, lesbian friendly, nice restaurants, bars, gym, shopping, etc. in center downtown area. It's really nice, I think you and your partner would enjoy living in this area.
i know one! 2796 woodhollow lane jonesboro ga, 3 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath ithink and its $850 its private owned so you probably wont find it online you would have to come see it.its a very settled neighborhood mostly older couples and families
Look at Scottdale, which is just outside of Decatur. It is LGBTQ friendly and you get more for your money than actually living inside the city of Decatur. There are some great townhomes and homes in Lantern Ridge neighborhood.
