Renting a home with low credit score

My company will be relocating me from upstate NY to the DC/MD/VA area. We are not sure where we want to live yet so we will be renting a home until we decide on a location. My wife and I have gone through some financial hardship but we are coming out of it now. Our credit rating is low, below 600 is it possible to still rent a home in a good area? best sites to look for a rental??? will a agent help us out???

Hello,

We have lots of apartments and homes for rent in and around Washington, DC. Here's a linkt o our housing search in DC:

http://hotpads.com/search#lat=38.89331363636365&lon=-77.01465&zoom=20&listingTypes=rental,sublet,room,corporate&includeVaguePricing=false&loan=30,0.0525,0

and here is one to our search in Baltimore:

http://hotpads.com/search#lat=39.28476363636365&lon=-76.62070454545454&zoom=20&listingTypes=rental,sublet,room,corporate&includeVaguePricing=false&loan=30,0.0525,0

Having a low credit score may make it harder for you to rent, but certainly not impossible by any means, especially if your income proves that you can cover the rent. Good luck with your search!

Colleen

Hi, This I$ a buyer's market. I SELL homes through a lease with the option to purchase. Must have verifiable income/employment, be willing to change some behaviors neccessary to improve your credit score (through HUD approved counselling agency...not the scams on the internet!), AND have at least 3% to move in.

You can visit www.buyproperty4lesstoday.com and complete your individual preferences. We'll locate homes and forward the info. to your email.

I work with homeowner's and real estate investor's EAGER to help you achieve the "dream" of home ownership!

Tell me what you're looking for at www.buyproperty4lesstoday.com and I'll locate it!

Thanx,
George
