Extension of Time To Settle
My agent's company is holding a $40,000 deposit from the buyer of my house ($800,000) which was supposed to settle on April 15. The buyers now say they need an extension until April 30th because they have some document trouble. If I give them an extension, I want to charge them for it - how much? Can I refuse and take their deposit? What are my options if I give an extension and they don't settle on the 30th?Thanks!
