How can you rent if you have really bad credit

My family and I live 13 mi.south of Atlanta, due to budget cuts, at both mine and my wife's jobs,we are filing ch7 (we have owned this house for 15 years and are letting it go). Job market here is weak, as is the school system. I am going my company is going to transfer me to the Charlotte terminal in about 4-6 months. How hard is it going to be to rent with this chapter 7

It's definitely harder to rent with bad credit, but once you get transfered for work and can show a steady income, it will proabbly be a lot easier. Plus, if you rent from owners directly instead of from companies, you'll have a better shot. The housing in Charlotte is pretty affordable so you should be able to show that you make enough money to cover the rent and hopefully that will be good enough!
