how is kensburg, NJ area for family stay? New to NJ so unaware of place

Planning to move to Middletown, NJ. Looking for good place to stay in nearby area due to travel restriction. Heard of Kensburg area though unclear of locality. Will it be good choice from family stay perspective? how about general accesibility to/from this area

not sure if you are looking to live in Keansburg or stay there while you look for a home. I am a Middletown resident & am currently looking for another home in Middletown. I would not move to Keansburg or North Middletown, the homes do not have as much value & the school systems are ranked lower. if they are the only areas you can afford to buy into Go with North Middletown over Keansburg, but if you can afford to buy in another part of middletown buy else where. For the most part the people in both areas are nice and there are well taken care of homes, just as there are uncared for homes. watch your flood zones Port Monmouth, Leonardo, Faiwview, Belford, Navesink are also parts of Middletown.

STAY AWAY . If you are planning to move or vacation to keansburg, don't even think about it. Just don't do it. I'm 26 years old and grew up in Middletown, about 15 minutes away from Keansburg. Now i live about 5 minutes from there. Now my particular area isnt bad but keansburg is another story. Crime and drug use is very very high, much higher the middletown's, in addition to the fact that the schools are a much better quality. oh and the boardwalk in keansburg is okay but spend the extra time and gas to go to point pleasant or seaside because its very small and easily done in a 3 hour cycle if you take your time.
