Possible to find a 2 bed, at least 1.5 bath apartment on the water in Imperial Beach for under $2,000?

I want to be ocean front- not a block from the ocean- actually with my patio overlooking the Pacific. Is it possible to find a place, preferably in Imperial Beach, for that price?

I live in IB 1/2 blk from the pier and you will be hard pressed to find anything in that price range.....they are more like $2500 and up. We live in a great house with HUGE front and back yards and a very private side yard that will be ready to rent in the next month if you'd like to check it out.

If you bump up your price to $2,100 a month there are a couple of great properties there:
