I got a place for 3 months last year in San Francisco. There are a ton of places that do month to month and I feel like there are enough internships that makes this not a rare occassion. Another idea would be to try subletting someone's off-campus house for the summer if they aren't going to be around.

Enjoy San Francisco, make sure to get out to see the Redwoods and do all the tourist stuff while you're out there. It's a pretty awesome place

I'd just email a couple of the apartment buildings here to see if they were flexible.

I am looking for an appartment for my sun to rent,for a summer internship that he is doing in SF.
