Is it a good time to buy a condo in Phoenix? Or, will prices go even lower? ZC 85045 San Simeon Condos.

I am looking forward to buying a condo in Phoenix, Arizona A one-bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bath...preferably on the second floor with access to a swimming pool and hot tub and entertainment center nearby.

There is no crystal ball as to whether or not prices will drop but I can tell you, prices are low. Combine that with low interest rates on loans and you could potentially have a "sweet" deal. You need to seek a special type of loan for condos so be aware of that. Catherine www.MetroRealtyphx.com

Hello,

While there is no crystal ball into the future, there are some very sophisticated and reliable methods to project the market.

The tool we use is from The Cromford Report, a highly regarded market reporting firm that focuses only on Phoenix and surrounding area.

You can see an example of their data here:
http://www.tomapartners.com/cromford-report.html

And if you want to get free access to their more in-depth reporting we happy to set you up with a free account. If you are interested, just fill out our request form here: http://www.tomapartners.com/guides/housing-market-...

I have found out in my search that there have been tenants that have seen quite a few scorpions at an Simeon. I do know that if you are going to FHA the condo has to be FHA approved. Allot of condos are not accepting FHA. I also heard that quite a few of the condos HOA's are broke and they let the parimiter of the condos go down hill. I guess you can pay to have them find out if the condo's HOA is broke. San Simeon looks beautiful though.

Debbie,

Please read CAREFULLY: I am interested ONLY in a small condo (1 bed 1 bath OK). MUST BE on ground floor (my legs CANNOT deal with steps). In or near Cave Creek, Carefree or Anthem would be nice. DO NOT SEND ME INFO ON TWO-STORY TOWNHOMES OR SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS (HOUSES). CONDOS ONLY--PLEASE!
