I am looking for a 2br apt at the areas with good elementary school. any suggestion?

I have a first grader, I am looking for 2br apt. which area will be good except Lower Merion area that I heard. I will be working at North Philly. Won't be too far to commute. also I have a car I need to find relatively reasonable price for parking or free parking at home.
if this area with good running trail that would be perfect ! Any suggestion would help. Thank you!
