Question about relocating to Cape Coral after serving in military.

I'm in the army & looking to relocate to Cape Coral. I'm coming down the beginning of December to find a place & my husband, kids & dogs will be coming down mid-month to move into wherever i find a place for us to move into. My husband was injured over in Afghanistan so he's being medically discharged with honors so but no longer able to serve. This is the reason why we are moving. Rental companies haven't been getting back to us & it's frustrating & stressful for us & we're unsure what to do!
