3) MUST BE FINANCIALLY PREPARED WHEN LOOKING AT APARTMENTS-SECURITY,RENT, REAL ESTATE FEE)
4) STATE UP FRONT IF YOU HAVE PETS PLEASE!
5) STATE UPFRONT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE TO RESIDE IN APARTMENT
6) IF YOU HAVE A PROGRAM, OR BEING EVICTED, PLEASE DISCLOSE IT TO AGENT WHEN REGISTERING FOR AN APARTMENT.
7) COMMUNICATION-yOU MUST COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR AGENT. SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS, RUNNING LATE, OR CANCELING, PLEASE ADVISE THE AGENTS.

LATELY, PEOPLE SET UP APPOINTMENTS AND DO NOT SHOW. OR THEY FORGET THEY HAVE A 40 LB. DOG? BETTER YET, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ENTIRE AMOUNT NEEDED TO OBTAIN AN APARTMENT. AND LASTLY, AFTER YOU SHOW A HALF DOZEN APARTMENTS THEY DO NOT CALL THE AGENTS TO LET THEM KNOW.
FINDING AN APARTMENT IS NOT EASY, HOWEVER LOCAL REALTORS IN BUSINESS FOR DECADES GET PLENTY OF APARTMENT LISTINGS. AND MAY I SUGGEST TO STAY AWAY FROM CRAIGSLIST FOR TWO REASONS.
IT HAS BECOME A DUMPING GROUND FOR MANY REALTORS, WHO POST UNDER BY OWNERS BUT CHARGE A FEE. NEXT THEY POST OTHER AREAS IN THE MIDDLE VILLAGE SECTION. AND LASTLY, ACTUAL OWNERS WILL ASK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND YOU MUST COMPETE WITH DOZENS OF OTHER TENANTS ANSWERING THE AD.
