something to consider is the low rents in the area when buying the home. Fortunately, home prices in the area are also pretty low, so you would probably be able to find a house to buy that renters could cover. I don't know how awesome baltimore is in terms of a no brainer when trying to sell it again, I've seen a bunch of homes just sit on the market. Then again, if you buy near a universtiy there's generally more of a demand

You can check out this 4br 2 bath house in historic madison park. The neighborhood is nice, working professional (some of Baltimore's finest live in this community from a US congressman to former police of chief). The area is close to a number of the local colleges, downtown and a 10-15 drive to Morgan. MLS#BA7325986.

I have a house in Canton that has been rented to students. It would be great for you to have your son's roommates pay you the rent. It's a 4 bedroom, 3.5 baths. Here isthe link:

I have a client who has a home he has been renting that is in great condition. It is opening this spring and he might consider selling it. It is just minutes from Morgan campus on Overland Ave. It is a four bedroom with one bath detached home. If interested please contact me 410-235-7764
