May 15th-Real Estate, When selecting a Realtor in your Community to sell your home, should a Homeowner consider a Broker who resides in the Neighborhood as well as a factor?

My opinion but if a Broker lives in the Community, participates in the Community equally by becoming President of Local Organizations, gives back to the Community he resides in, why shouldn't a Homeowner consider these factors before determining who they list their home with to sell. Some Brokers Reputations are ten times bigger than the local so called Realtors who have large staffs, or Big outfits in the Community. Rather I think when considering a Realtor, eliminate the Largeness of a Company and look for more quality, success, and a Reputation with accomplishments that far exceed any given Realtor around you. In my opinion, the Broker of the Community should be checked on 'GOOGLE'. Why? Some big Realtors who rack in the money left and right, have Brokers like the UNKNOWN COMIC. I know I am dating myself, but some Brokers mind as well have a paper bag over their head when walking around. Nobody sees them, nobody in the Community hears about them, and they never give their time to give back to the Community they do business in. The only thing they do do, is run to the bank with all the Commissions, thanks in part because of Real Estates Size.
Think about it, a Broker who doesn't live in your Community, one you wouldn't recognize if he walked passed you to go to the local deli, and one who has never ever attempted to make a difference in the Community he does business in. Last but not least, using a Magnifying glass can you GOOGLE his name and find a sentence or a paragraph about him? The Residents of Middle Village,NY and surrounding areas when evaluating what Realtor to use, you should first consider looking for a record/background/ Resume by searching the 'GOOGLE' web site. Not just go to the local Big outfit and continue to feed the Big Fat Cat who does nothing but make deposits from closings.
THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS WHEN CONSIDERING A REALTOR TO REPRESENT YOU IN THE SALE OF YOUR HOME. HERE'S AN EXAMPLE: JIM TURANO/BROKER
Please see what I mean. Thank You!
