@ANGIESMITH- It's people like you & your ignorant assumptions and sterotypical attitudes that piss me off!You don't know anything about me or my situation but you automatically assume that I am the sterotypical Section * recipient that's looking for a hand out! I have lived in the same house for over 5 years and unfortunately my landlord decided to do other things with the $1550 a month than to pay her mortgage (by the way section 8 only pays $360 of that amount and I pay the balance) and the house is now in foreclosure proceedings. Secondly I work a full time job ( which means I pay taxes just like you!) and attend West Georgia full time majoring in Nursing. So that ignorant a%$ statement doesn't apply to me I'm using Section 8 for what is was meant to be a hand up not a handout. If these landlords would do what they are suppose to do and screen their tenants rather than just accepting the money because it comes from Section 8 you wouldn't have the problem that your talking about! So don't be upset with the tenant get upset at the owner you know your fellow homeowner/neighbor who didn't give a #@!& about you when they rented the home in the first place! and remember you only get respect when you give respect! Good day!

There are NO sectipn 8 homes available here... for Pete sakes! get a JOB, earn your OWN and stop stealing money from others who do work. Where do you think thge money comes from to support your family that YOU can't afford??? OUR tax dollars lady! Wanna see the state of section 8 here in Atlanta? Take a look at this... http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/housing-crisis-reaches-full-589653.html This was two years ago and it's STILL the same. If you do manage to scrape one of these homes out of welfare's hands, mow the lawn, clean the yard, watch your kids, plant flowers, wash the house OUTSIDE, keep noise levels low, be pleasant to your neighbors...they;re PAYING for your LIFE! Earn it and be respectful!!!!!
