www.greatschools.org is a wonderful source of information about schools in the Charlotte area. Our family currently lives in one of the best school districts in the state, with a high school that's been nationally recognized - Elizabeth Lane Elementary, South Charlotte Middle and Providence High School. The area is wonderful, family friendly, safe and 2 minutes from everything!
