How can I stop my neighbor from using our mailing address?
My husband and I bought our home two years ago. The day after we moved in we got our neighbors mail. I didn't think anything of it until the next day it happened again. Our home us empty for a year and a half before we bought it so she decided to take the address for her own. We have gotten credit card bill and cell phone bills. She even uses the address to get packages. I have went as far as looking the numbers up on the internet and calling the bill company's and telling them that she has stolen the address and they cancel bills. But that has not stopped her. We even have had the police out because f this. She told the police that we took her address. They looked it up on their computer and the address comes up my husband and I. She will stand outside waiting for UPS and FedEx and wave them down to get her packages. We had to move our mailbox cause her kids were taking mail out of the box. We've called the post office and they will do nothing. The police won't do anything because she has told them we are renting where were out and we aren't. We bought it and she knows it. This has been going on for 2 years now and she didn't seem to be stopping. Anyone got any ideas. We even bought security camera's up on our home. She has pulled her pants down in front of my kids and I have had her son throw rocks at me and also she has threaten to shot me in the face with a shot gun and the police won't do anything. I can't even go outside and sit because she starts yelling and she will call the police and tell them I'm outside. Her son has also put on the back of my car in the dirt F*** Bi***. She won't stop them. We have a fence up and no Trespassing signs up. They try and pull the fence down and have taken the signs down and have even shot the signs and thrown them back in our yard. We've even had the property surveyed and that didn't make any difference. Moving is not an opinion. Got any ideas anyone? Thank you.You must have a HotPads account to post.
