Dec 20, 2021Current resident - There have been two shootings in the parking lots of the complex in four days. My daughter saw the muzzle flashes from the first one out her bedroom window. The one last night claimed a life.
The security gates have been broken most of the year and a half we've lived here. Management told me they have a bid to fix the gates and are waiting on the contractor, but then they told my neighbor there's a permitting process holding something up. So who knows.
Also the garbage situation is ridiculous, not enough dumpsters for a complex this size so everyone's bags of garbage sit in a pile five times the size of the dumpster, around the overflowing dumpster.
My daughter and I sometimes see syringes or drug baggies laying around. One time we came home from the store and there was a guy pointing a gun at the phone in his hand while screaming at it, so we drove away and came back 20 minutes later, to avoid walking past him to get to our apartment.
If you're considering living here, ask if they've fixed the gates yet.
