Area Information

Naples is a small city in Collier County, Florida, with some of the most spectacular beaches in the state and no choking traffic. Naples is also home to the second-highest proportion of millionaires per capita in the United States.

Residents love Naples for good reason: a lack of dense development allows the city to retain its modest charm. Located as far south as Fort Lauderdale but on the Gulf coast, Naples stays warmer in winter than cities in central Florida.

Naples is a great town for those who love the outdoors. There are a number of waterways here, popular with boaters, kayakers and paddle boarders. Several state and national parks are nearby, including Everglades National Park, which is about a one-hour drive away. The city has also developed bike lanes and paths. It's especially easy to get around the western portion of the city by bike.

The beach in Naples is largely lined with private mansions, but the city has created regular access points with parking for the public. There are several spectacular beach parks, as well as a historic Naples pier, where you are likely to see dolphins playing in the Gulf and great white heron and pelicans waiting for fishermen to share their catch.

When seeking apartments for rent in Naples, you?ll find beach-area properties east of the Tamiami Trail, as well as between the Tamiami Trail and I-75. Rentals a bit away from the beach can be found in Golden Gate, an unincorporated area of eastern Naples.
