The unit is a true and absolute oceanfront condo with a lanai (balcony) that almost hangs over the ocean, and pool, from where you might see spinner dolphins and whales (in season) splashing in the ocean. View the tidal pools below where turtles, fish and colorful eels can be seen. Let the sounds and fresh smell of the sea lull you to sleep after your day of sightseeing or relaxing; both bedroom and living room face the ocean. Enjoy amazing, colorful, sunsets from the lanai, living room and bedroom and/or pool. LOCATION: Hale Kona Kai is a small complex of 3 dozen absolute oceanfront condos, located in town! We are on a quiet side street and just a short walk to the village of Kailua-Kona also known as Kona Town. Hale Kona Kai is only 1 block walk to Honl's white sand surfing beach and a 4 block walk to the Kona Farmers Market. Hale Kona Kai is a next to the Royal Kona Resort, a short walk to Huggos popular oceanfront restaurant and many other open air ocean front restaurants and shops. Relax in shaded lounge chairs next to our heated salt water, oceanfront, pool and BBQ areas. COMFORT: - Comfortable, bamboo style, furnished, living room couch and reclining chair. - Convenient elevator for tired legs and groceries. - Full-sized, fully equipped, modern kitchen, with microwave, new dishwasher, plus toaster, coffee maker, and blender. - Upgraded bathroom with new frameless shower door, new fixtures, and attractive wall tile and stone floor. - Queen bed in the bedroom with TV and a large, ocean view desk; sleeps 2. - Optional sleeping on our comfortable living room couch or single sized air mattress for a temporary visitor.
