Boulder Lodge at Rumbling Bald Resort is an apartment in the small mountain town of Lake Lure, NC that was made popular by the movie " Dirty Dancing and The Last of the Mohicans" . It is a private apartment on a private residence 4 minute drive from the resort ( behind the guard gates). It is the entire first floor of a 3 story home with full kitchen and huge luxurious bathtub with whirlpool for two. The property is in the world famous Rumbling Bald resort with amenities such as lake lure, beach, 2 pro golf courses, 2 restaurants on property, Bears cup cafe serving Starbucks and gym and lazy river pool, indoor pool with 8 person hot tub and steam room and sauna. There is also a spa and other resort amenities. The private house sits adjacent to " Chimney Rock State Park" with large boulders and tons of wildlife crossing and a beautiful view of the mountains. The resort amenities are a 4 minute drive down the mountain to the lake. Approximately 20 minutes to downtown Chimney Rock and village. Come enjoy the beautiful fall, the open mountain view during the winter by the indoor fireplace or outdoor firepit. This property was being rented on airbnb and rented for much more than we are charging for a long term tenant. Length of stay is negotiable. Minimum through spring and summer.
